ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

ABOUT THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Parent Panel seeks a smart & passionate sales professional ready to roll up their sleeves! The right Account Executive for this position will be intelligent, enthusiastic, a problem solver & above all – a team player!

This sales role involves working remotely. You should be a go-getter with a strong background in online & magazine advertising sales. Someone who owns the cold call and can close deals in the blink of an eye. Others characterize you as a people person, and you can easily build relations with managers and child & family businesses in order to reach sales targets and boost The Parent Panel’s market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Giving prospective clients a strong, crisp & on point presentation over the phone & in person
  • Meeting and exceeding all sales and performance goals on a consistent basis
  • Educating potential clients on the value of The Parent Panel & how our partnership can grow their business!
  • Engaging in prospecting & cold calling, while maintaining & growing current clients
  • Following up with potential clients to close sales
  • Providing prospective clients with custom multi-media advertising options
  • Being the “Face” of The Parent Panel & representing the brand involves; awards ceremonies, cocktail/networking parties, trade shows and industry events

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Past experience selling multi-media advertising platforms
  • Previous experience working from home preferred
  • Previous experience selling a digital based advertising solutions in a transaction marketplace to small and medium size businesses
  • University educated preferred
  • Minimum 2 years advertising sales, 1 year outbound call experience
  • Experience in the baby & child industry a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation

CLIENT BILLING SPECIALIST

ABOUT THE CLIENT BILLING SPECIALIST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Client Billing Specialist works daily to manage our invoicing system and resolve past due balances on customer accounts.  Our goal is to collect money for the sales team and ensure customer’s billing accounts are up to date.  The Client Billing Specialist role works directly with business owners across the country and has a direct relationship with members of the sales and management team.  We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and do what we can to maintain our loyal client base while working to meet business needs.

If you are someone who enjoys seeing the reward of persistence and who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and speak with people from all over the country, this position is perfect for you.  You should also be very detailed.  This role is an integral part of our sales team and impacts our bottom line.  The Client Billing Specialist will contact customers in regards to invoices and past due balances on their account, while providing excellent customer service to other team members and our valued advertisers. You’ll also have your own accounts, the perfect chance to make this position your own.  Bonus opportunities for individual performance too!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works directly with a team of Sales Representatives and customers
  • Respond to Sales Representatives and customers regarding payment and billing questions via email and phone
  • Contact customers daily via phone
  • Process payments and update payment and contact information as needed
  • Track daily progress via Salesforce
  • Works with members of the Customer Service and Sales Operations team to assure all customer and Sales Rep needs are met
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Effective and professional written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and highly organized team player
  • Ability to learn processes and systems quickly
  • Ability and desire to research accounts to get to the root cause of the customer issue
  • Experience using and navigating multiple computer systems
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to work general business hours Monday – Friday; overtime as needed

MARKETING ASSISTANT

ABOUT THE MARKETING ASSISTANT ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Marketing Assistant will support our both our CEO, Expert Panel and Social Media Teams.  The job requires taking full ownership of administrative duties to keep our executives organized, on schedule and on task.  As part of your admin duties, you’ll be a second pair of eyes and ears to ensure our executives are fully equipped for meetings, events and public appearances. This position is best suited for a smart, motivated, resourceful professional looking to break into the industry and make a great first impression in a fast-paced, competitive media and technology company.

Strong communication skills in person and in writing, a positive attitude and demonstrated leadership abilities are essential. A willingness to pitch in with whatever needs to get done and the ability to always be one step ahead goes a long way too. The capability to juggle multiple projects, stay calm and collected under pressure must be part of your DNA, and you thrive being part of a collaborative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gatekeeper to senior executives: Phones, mail, email, making sure meetings start and end on time
  • Create presentations and other communications
  • Manage multiple calendars including scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
  • Prepare expense reports and other invoices
  • Maintain files, contact lists and other resources
  • Research projects and other projects as directed
  • Act as point of contact for your departments

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A. Required, Marketing Communications or Business Administration preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role (work experience counts!)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior ability to organize and simplify
  • Knowledge of Google Enterprise (Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc.) highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel a plus

ABOUT THE FEATURES WRITER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Parent Panel is looking for Features Writers passionate about providing the right content at the right moment for millennial couples going through pregnancy and parenthood to join our nimble and high-performing editorial team.

In this exciting role, you’ll be creating and developing premium content that deeply engages and helps our users as they navigate this amazing journey of parenthood. You’ll collaborate with our in-house content marketing team on client sponsorships and, best of all, be part of a brand embracing digital and product innovations to help parents through this incredible life stage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create focused content suitable for a wide range of parenting stages
  • Develop and publish written reviews of products submitted for our Seal of Approval
  • Ensure brand voice across all content
  • Optimize and update content
  • Develop new content ideas for needed content areas
  • Create an ongoing plan for content to ensure we stay up to date and relevant
  • Stay on top of the game, keep up to date with what’s happening in the parenting world

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years of writing experience at either a local or national digital media site
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience editing and writing health and medical content and passion for our parenting audience
  • Creative thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
