Our Parenting Expert – Katie Hilton is a health visitor, nurse and midwife with 14 years experience and also has a young son. She has worked extensively with families in both the UK and North America. Throughout her career, Katie has gained a wide myriad of experience in all areas of obstetrics, child and family health. Katie has a great passion for midwifery and health visiting and is an avid believer in facilitating informed choice. She has always supported women and families with their decisions throughout pregnancy, labour & delivery, postnatal and into childhood. Katie writes for a wide range of parenting publications including Mother & Baby, Prima Baby, Gurgle, Baby London and more, she also featured in a Sky TV documentary focused on Breastfeeding. She also is the expert voice for a number of well known brands.

Hannah Harvey

Hannah Harvey works as a Registered Midwife and is also the founder of Ask the Midwife, the UK’s first ever health advice app that has been designed and run by Registered Midwives. For the first time ever parents can get a fast response to any questions they have via the App Store. Lisa Clegg is a Mother of 3 and works as a Maternity Nurse helping and advising parents with all aspects of child care and development with their little one. Geraldine Miskin

Geraldine Miskin is an internationally recognised independent breastfeeding specialist who has over 20 years’ experience working with families through her private practice in West London, UK. While studying to become a paediatric nutritionist, Geraldine worked as a nanny and maternity nurse before changing her career path.  Geraldine complete a unique 18-month internship with a leading board-certified lactation consultant, before studying human lactation in depth.

Nicola Lathey

Nicola Lathey is one of the top Speech and Language Therapists in the UK and founder of The Owl Centre. She is the author of the prize-winning and best-selling book, Small Talk, and has also written a series of children’s books, underpinned by Speech and Language Therapy principles, published by Campbell books. Nicola has spoken about Speech and Language development in children on national television and national and international radio and is a Baby Show Speaker.

Professor Greg Whyte OBE is a Physical Activity Expert, world-renowned sports scientist, Olympian and author of new book Bump it Up, a guide for exercising during pregnancy. He is a two-time Olympian in modern pentathlon and a European and World Championship medalist. Greg is well known for his involvement in Comic Relief and for assisting celebrities in various challenge events including Jo Brand, Greg James, David Walliams, Davina Mccall, James Cracknell, Cheryl Cole, Chris Moyles and Gary Barlow

Al Ferguson

Al Ferguson  is the founder of The Dad Network; the UK’s most influential Dad Blog. Sarah Beeson

Over four decades as a nurse and a health visitor Sarah Beeson’s career has been shaped by the needs of children. Sarah started her career on the wards of Hackney Hospital, her expertise and innovation have been recognised with an MBE for her services to children and families, she has also received the Queen’s Nursing Institute Award and written three amazing books, The New Arrival, Happy Baby, Happy Family and She’s Arrived due to be published in 2017.

Fi Star-Stone

Fi Star-Stone is one of the UK’s leading parenting experts, author, broadcaster, and editor of Childcare is Fun, a parenting site that started the UK’s first ever, award winning, FREE parent advice service. Fi is a qualified parenting advisor with over 22 years experience in childcare. Her qualifications include a Degree in Childhood and Youth studies, an NNEB in Nursery nursing, and a Diploma in Childhood studies. Fi regularly writes articles for parenting websites and magazines, and regularly appears on TV and radio stations, including both BBC, ITV and SKY news as a parenting expert. Her bestselling sleep book ‘The Baby bedtime book – Say goodnight to sleepless nights!’ is out now, and her new ‘Top Toddler tips’ book is out this year.  In 2005 and 2006 Fi was awarded ‘highly commended’ for her work by the Professional Association of Nursery Nurses.’

Emma Cannon

Emma Cannon is a fertility, pregnancy and integrated women’s health expert, registered acupuncturist and author. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science from Westminster University, where she received a first class honours in clinical work, and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and The College of Medicine. She has completed post graduate training with The Royal College Of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the management and treatment of infertility.

Dr Philippa Kaye

Dr Philippa Kaye attended Cambridge University followed by Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School before obtaining a place on a GP vocational training scheme. On the scheme she completed posts in medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and psychiatry before completing a year as a general practice registrar. She has a particular interest in women’s, children’s and sexual health. She also regularly contributes to magazines about women’s and children’s health issues and is the sole author of five books.

Jessica Chivers

Jessica Chivers is a coaching psychologist and author of Mothers Work! She is passionate about helping women flourish at work at beyond and is our in-house Careers Expert. Jessica has 13 years of coaching experience and she thoroughly enjoy’s the work she does with women and men who are in career transition, be they looking to stretch up for their next role, shifting out of corporate life into self-employment or returning after an extended period of absence from work. Her book Mothers Work! was written in reaction to becoming a parent and seeing the ugly truths about women’s careers post baby. A huge part of the problem mothers face when trying to return to work and developed their careers post children is the culture in which they work, so in 2011 Jessica  founded The Talent Keeper Specialists, a service to help women and their employers make positive maternity transitions.
